Kalocsa and Puszta were our Hungary countryside destinations today. One of the best on the tour. We listened to an organ concert in the local Church and saw a very interesting horse show by locals who are actually of Mongolian descent. The show was different than anything we have seen. They swing around whips cracking them loudly, had the horses lie down to show how they had to hide from their enemies and how they slept with their riders. A team of 10 Hungarian horses with a rider standing on the last 2, carts drawn by huge cows etc.
Tonight was the captains dinner with 5 courses of delicious special food. The entire staff walked through for applause and after dinner local musicians and dancers. We are getting off the ship early friday morning and starting the day with a bus tour to get a feel for the city. Followed by an afternoon free and Saturday free in the city.
