Berlin with Martin & Gudrun

Anne have a nice flight tomorrow. Today we met our friends Martin & Gudrun who flew from their home in Germany to meet us for a weekend of fun in Berlin. We planned to meet them for lunch so after the great buffet breakfast at the hotel we set out for a quick visit to the german history museum right near by on museum Island. Then back to the hotel for a nice greeting at 1:00 from our friends and off for lunch. For the afternoon we walked around, shopped a bit at a small craft fair and climbed to the top a Cathedral tower that had a great city view. All day long we learned interesting things about Berlin and what our friends have been up to. We stopped for an ice cream and off to a 7pm show in a hip part of Mitte. The show was called Chameleon. An acrobatic show with a sensual twist. Not like any thing we have ever seen.
