Rhode Island beach days

This weekend we went to Rhode Island to visit Laurie’s friend Roger. On Saturday we woke up early to start driving. The drive was about 2 ½ hours long. When we got there we went to the beach almost right away. At the beach we ate lunch then swam, tanned and talked to Roger and his wife and daughter. After a long day on the beach we went back to Roger’s vacation house, about 1 minute from the beach. We had a cook- out in their back yard, and then we went out for ice cream.  The next morning (this morning) we woke up when Roger’s wife and daughter had to leave, and then we got our day started. First we went on a bike ride on the streets around their house. A little bit later, we went to the beach again. This time we ate lunch then swam, tanned, boogie boarded, and skim boarded. Then it was time to leave, so we went back to the house and packed up before we drove home. It was a great weekend, thanks to Roger and his family. We will write more tomorrow!
