Today we, Anne, Emily, Jesse, and Laurie went to Harvard University for a tour. On the way we stopped at a house in our neighborhood that was being torn down. We were fascinated by this, so we stopped to watch. Finally, when we got to Harvard a tour was just starting so we joined them. The tour guide was very entertaining and funny. It seemed like he was yelling at us because there were so many people. We saw the freshman dorms, the ugly science center, the civil war victory memorial building which is used for freshman meals, and the Widener Library. After the tour was over, we ate a nice lunch at a restaurant on the edge of Harvard. Next, we walked around the streets of Cambridge and went in the shops. At this time Jesse had to get to his music camp, so we drove him there with a quick stop at Dairy Queen for ice cream. This was Jesse’s last day of music camp so we went to his concert where we heard his group play Jazz music. He has made a lot of progress and it sounded very good! That’s all for today, but we will write tomorrow!
